Barcelona is a place that a backpacker can pack his bags and have that ultimate exploration and adventure along with numerous sites to see and learn about. Barcelona is a place filled with architecture, exuberant colours and sites. The capital of Catalonia is seen with buildings that look like giant cakes which are draped in vivid colourful icing. The temple Expiatori de la Sagrada Familia is a cathedral unique in itself which has consumed a bog portion of Gaudi’s architect’s life. Gaudi is no more and his work still lives on and is yet to complete. The Barri Gotic is filled with narrow streets where all the buildings housed there are of the 13th and 16th century is a place that a backpacker must visit.
A backpacker to Barcelona must have keen interest in architecture both class and modern, both of which the city is famous for. The city lets its backpackers relax and breathe in the air of life with its exuberant architectural sites, and although the city has been going through a revival, it has not los its deep soul. Thus Barcelona is an excellent place for a backpacker to visit and indulge.
